Worked as one of the core painting team (led by Belinda Gilbert-Scott) on the exciting and challenging transformation of HMS Fingal into "Every Woman" - aka the Edinburgh "Dazzle Ship".

A collaboration between 14-18 Now and Edinburgh Art Festival, it was designed by award-winning artist Glasgow artist, Ciara Philips (who also frequently joined the team as hands-on painter).

We painted the huge ship in the dock at Leith in under 3 weeks, working from the dockside and from floating platforms. Initially towed up the Forth for the Battle of Jutland commemorations; it was then taken back to Leith docks, and displayed there until early 2017.

It has now been repainted and redeveloped as a luxury hotel, under its original name (HMS Fingal).
