I was part of the core team painting the Edinburgh "Dazzle Ship" as part of a collaboration between 14-18 Now and Edinburgh Art Festival, led by Belinda Gilbert-Scott and designed by award-winning artist Glasgow artist, Ciara Philips (who also frequently joined the team as hands-on painter).

We painted the huge ship in the dock at Leith in under 3 weeks; working from the dockside and from floating platforms; working to an extemely tight deadline.

Initially it was towed up the Forth for the Battle of Jutland commemorations; then taken back to Leith docks, where it was displayed until early 2017.

It has now been repainted and redeveloped as a luxury hotel, under its original name (HMS Fingal).
